    Counselling

    The Albert Centre offers confidential, client centred counselling for individuals experiencing problems in relation to Alcohol or Drug misuse. Counsellors work with the client to help them explore and understand issues that cause, affect or contribute to their alcohol or drug abuse or hinder their recovery

    Drink Driving

    The purpose of the course is to educate people on alcohol and its effects and to reduce re-offending, Courses are run in conjunction with the Department of Transport and Magistrates' Courts of Teesside, North Yorkshire and South Durham. The Clerk of the Court will notify the DVLA of your success, thus reducing your period of disqualification by up to 25%. The course can help you to keep your licence.

    Primary Alcohol Drug Service (PADS)

    Reduce alcohol-related admissions by;

    Early identification, Giving Identification and Brief Advice and referring to community services, Training hospital staff in alcohol awareness and in Identification and Brief Advice.

    Training

    We are a Government approved provider of training and as such we take that endorsement very seriously. We pride ourselves on providing interactive and highly commended training courses for everyone, whether they be civil servants, the 3rd Sector or the Corporate sector and whilst our courses deliver a serious message, there is no reason why the learning can’t be fun.

Our aim is to help build stronger, safer and healthier communities where everyone has the opportunity to realise their full potential. The Albert Centre has developed innovative projects, working in the community, in health centres and GP surgeries, in hospitals, and within the health and Criminal Justice System.

The Albert Centre aims to promote recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and misuse by ensuring each individual has equal access to the advice, treatment, counselling and aftercare including the support required to access employment, training and suitable accommodation in order to recover and fully reintegrate into society.
