Alcohol Awareness Short Course - 3.5 hours

Course Content

• Do you need to know how to calculate units for your job?

• Would losing your driving licence cause you problems at work?

• Do you want to drink within safe guidelines? 

• Would knowing more about alcohol help at work?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES, then the alcohol awareness short programme might just fit the bill.

This course will enable participants to calculate units, understand the process of absorption and elimination, look at health issues, know the legal drink drive limits and the High Risk Offender elements and how to ensure you are alcohol free and safe to drive.

We can tailor the course to include aspects from the full alcohol awareness course.  The AA short course content currently suggested is made up from elements that certain industries have expressed a desire to see included, particularly the fleet sales managers, road hauliers and taxi firms.

This training can also count towards your JAUPT Periodic Training requirements, (Professional Continuous Development ).
