Redcar Albert CentreThe Albert Centre at Redcar provides help and support for those experiencing problems in controlling how much alcohol they drink. Our service provides a tailored package of community based interventions to help our clients control their use of alcohol, or to abstain from drinking. Assessments Clients who are referred into The Albert Centre participate in a comprehensive assessment to identify how much alcohol they consume, level of dependency and any wider issues affecting how and why they drink. Recovery Clients are allocated to a case manager, who will work with them on a one to one basis to prepare and implement a recovery plan. Recovery plans are owned by the client and outline the main objectives that have been agreed and interventions to be provided. Interventions
Aftercare As alcohol use is reduced to a safe level, or abstinence is achieved - clients will prepare to exit the service and be supported through an exit package that includes bespoke guidance & information resource to assist in maintaining recovery and wellbeing. Our case managers will continue to liaise on behalf of their clients with agencies that will support their reintegration into the community.
